SESCO SES330 series inlet oil booster pumps are low pressure, low suction head, portable booster pumps designed to assist oil processors when circulating oil through a partially filled transformer being held under full vacuum. The SES330 is available in centrifugal and positive displacement pump versions.
The SES330S 2400 utilizes a special multistage suction centrifugal pump to supply up to 45 GPM with only 36" of oil suction head when the transformer is under full vacuum. Many transformer processing specifications require hot oil circulation with a limited volume of oil to heat the core prior to the dry out cycle. The SES330S enables the oil processor to circulate hot oil while under full vacuum with only 36" between the inlet of the pump and the oil level in the transformer. The SES330S is lighter, easier to store, and easier to position than it's larger heavier positive displacement predecessors. This reduced speed gear pump is mounted and balanced on a two wheeled frame for portability and includes a locally mounted motor starter with 50' of power cable.
